Our bespoke ten seater table is a classic.
Our clients often choose the live edge dining table in European walnut for good reason. The rich, chocolatey timber tones feature unique ripples and striations, making each table one-of-a-kind. Heart and sapwood contrasting with a single central opening create a striking two-toned tabletop.
This dining table boasts dramatic live edge detail on both sides and three central openings. We’ve paired it with a sled base for a deluxe, modern finish.

NO Composite Materials: We never use composite materials like MDF or chipboard in our designs, ensuring that our furniture is of the highest quality and durability. Our commitment to sustainability extends to our design process, with a focus on minimising emissions and maximising the reuse of offcuts.
Provenance: Our wood is FSC-certified, meaning that it comes from responsibly and sustainably managed forests that prioritise biodiversity, social responsibility, and economic benefit. When you choose our bespoke ten seater table, you’re not just investing in style and quality – you’re also making a responsible choice for the environment.
Dusting: Use a soft, dry cloth to dust the surface of the table regularly to prevent dirt and dust build-up.
Cleaning: If the surface of the table needs to be cleaned, use a gentle cleaner designed for use on acrylic-coated surfaces. Be sure to avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cloths as these can damage the finish on your dining table.
Sunlight: Direct sunlight can cause the colour of the furniture to fade over time. If possible, place the furniture away from windows or use curtains or blinds to block direct sunlight.
Moisture: Moisture can be problematic if left to linger on the tabletop. If any food or liquid gets split directly onto the surface, clean immediately.
Heat: Avoid placing hot objects, such as pots and pans, directly on the surface of the table. Use trivets or placemats to protect the surface from heat damage. When planning the location of your table, consider placing your table 1-2 meters away from a heat source such as a radiator or fireplace.
Handle With Care: Please be warned, these tables are very heavy. If you are planning to move your table, be sure to lift it rather than dragging it across the floor and make sure you have a few extra sets of hands to help. This will help to prevent scratches and other damage to the surface or floors.
Storage: If the table is going to be stored for an extended period of time, cover it with a clean, soft cloth to protect it from dust and scratches.
Shipping: All our furniture comes with free delivery and installation.
Scheduling: Once your bespoke ten seater table build is complete, we will schedule a delivery time that is convenient for you.
Accessibility: Please ensure that the delivery location is easily accessible and that there is enough room for our delivery team to manoeuvre the table into the desired location. If there are any potential obstacles, such as stairs or tight turns, please let us know in advance so that we can prepare accordingly.
Installation: Our delivery team will be responsible for both delivering and installing your L’Atelier Mata table. They have been trained to handle heavyweight furniture with care and to ensure a safe and professional installation. The team will show you how to attach the base to the table top for future reference.
Inspection: Upon delivery and installation, please inspect the table to ensure that it meets your expectations and that there is no damage. If you notice any issues, please let us know.
Disposal of Packaging: Our delivery team will dispose of all packaging materials and clean up the area after installation is complete.
The Timber
European Walnut
European walnut (Juglans regia) also known as English walnut, is a wood of character. This hardwood is coveted by artisans for its natural beauty and versatility. The wood can exhibit a range of tones from deep chocolate browns to warmer golden hues and may even have subtle reddish or purple undertones. The variations in tone add depth and character to each bespoke dining table.
The grain of European walnut is known for its striking patterns, with swirls, curls, and waves that create a unique sense of movement. The wood has a medium to coarse texture, with a natural lustre that catches the light and draws the eye.
At L’Atelier Mata, we love working with this species of timber! There is always a ‘big reveal’ once the raw boards are planed down. The level of character never disappoints and we think that the combination of warm colour and distinctive grain pattern make this timber the perfect choice for our dining tables.

Introducing our Twisted Pedestals, a design that we are incredibly proud of. We spent countless hours perfecting the unique play on geometry that makes these legs so special. At first glance, they may seem whimsical, but don’t be fooled, they are robust. The sheet steel not only creates the illusion of fragility but also ensures that they are incredibly robust.
To add to the overall aesthetic, we opted for a sleek matt black finish that not only adds depth and dimension to the design but also creates beautiful shadows within the various angles. We think that these legs are the perfect complement to our Bespoke Ten Seater Table With Internal Lived Edge. The Twisted Pedestals are the ideal balance between form and function, and we know they will become a talking point in any room they grace.
